What is a risograph?

Risograph is kinda like digital screenprinting - a machine that looks similar to a photocopier creates a stencil for each colour/layer, the stencil is wrapped around a drum of soy ink, and each layer is printed separately.

The wonderful vibrant colours and textures that are created by this method are what makes riso prints so wonderful - misregistered colours, little marks from the printing rollers, dust that gets caught during printing - all add fantastic bits of texture to a print. Imperfections are the name of the game with risographs!

Care:

Framing is recommended. Try not to handle the print too much. Each print comes in a plastic sleeve to protect it.
